if wanderlust is art, the open road is the canvas

There's one hell of a world out there, and it's all just waiting to be experienced and explored. I look outside and I see a place that's teeming with challenges and adventure... there are new things to learn around every corner and underneath every rock. I love to travel, and I wish I had the time and money to do more of it. This section sort of highlights the places I've been... go ahead and read up on my insights and recommendations and take them as an invitation to do some exploring of your own.

  • New York's Capital Region is my native land, a place that thrives on its proximity to several metropolitan centers and decent skiing, a fledgling high-technology industry, and as many civil servants as there are stars in the sky.

  • Western NY is an interesting little region with a truly American flavor, and it's the region that I've called home for a couple of years while doing undergrad work in Buffalo, its major city.

  • Cape Cod is one of New England's most prominent vacation spots, but its charm comes from its truly diversified character that has kept my family coming back every summer for two decades.

  • There are several miscellaneous eateries and attractions that are neither here nor there, but for some reason I've passed through and feel that they demand description.
